\u2018Do you need 100,000 fake followers who are just there<\/em><\/strong>, <\/em>or do you want 100 authentic followers that generate real engagement?\u2019<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s be honest, we all love hacks! No one wishes to voluntarily put up efforts to enhance their Social Media reach and engagement, especially if you could purchase popularity just at the click of a button (and that too, at a penny per follower).<\/p>\n

But, if you have to pay for popularity, are you really popular?<\/p>\n

A San-Francisco based coffee chain called Pooki\u2019s Mahi was one of the worst hit mid-size business after the fake follower purge initiated by Twitter. Prior to the purge, the Twitter handle of the coffee chain had 596K followers in their account. Just after Twitter was done with it, only 95k followers remained in the account, marking an 84% dip in the followers count.<\/p>\n

Why did you think Pooki\u2019s Mahi purchased the fake followers? It\u2019s not even confirmed whether it purchased 84% of its followers. But still, the fake followers were present in their account.<\/p>\n

If I say that I don\u2019t want an easy way to increase my follower count, I would be lying. But there is an easy thing to do, and then there is the right thing to do.<\/p>\n

First things first, why do people even aspire to buy fake followers in the first place? There are several reasons for that:[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

  1. Inflating their followers list so that a \u2018Bigger\u2019 number appears on their profile and gives the illusion of popularity.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. No intention to put up the required effort to organically build up their follower base.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. They want to plainly lie about their user-base (but people will eventually find out).<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]It is certain that a higher follower count will absolutely lead your audience to believe that you are very popular!<\/p>\n

    But, as soon as they start scrolling down your Twitter feed and see the level of engagement that does not match up with the number of followers in your account, they would think either of the two things:<\/p>\n

    1. Your content is sub-par and no one bothers to engage with it.<\/li>\n
    2. Your Twitter followers are fake.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Both these thoughts paint a fake picture of your popularity and may tremendously hamper your credibility.<\/p>\n
